Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Participates in the 15th Amman International Book Fair
AMMAN ---- October 13, 2014 ---- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) participated in the 15th Amman International Book Fair which was organized at the Faculty of Physical Education under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein.
The Fair, which was inaugurated by HE the Prime Minister Abdullah Nsoor, and attended by Minister of Culture HE Lana Mamkegh, witnessed the participation of publishing houses from Jordan and other Arab countries.
TAG-Org’s booth included professional publications such as the latest publications of International Accounting Standards, the International Standards on Auditing, the International Public Sector Accounting Standards, the Handbook of International Standards on Auditing, Wiley Guide, Guide to Quality Control, among other publications, in addition to dictionaries specialized in the fields of Intellectual Property, Accounting, IT, Collocations, Patents and the Legal dictionary.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister visited TAG-Org’s booth during which he was briefed about the Organization’s publications that are being published and distributed in universities, institutes and libraries in most Arab countries.
The Prime Minister was presented with some of the Organization’s publications.
The Prime Minister commended TAG-Org’s initiatives mainly the professional publications and dictionaries that help both the students and the professionals understand the concepts and terms in English and Arabic. The Prime Minister expressed his proud and admiration of TAG-Org under the leadership of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh.
It is worth mentioning that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Translation, Distribution & Publishing Company is a member of the Jordanian Publishers Union and it regularly participates in book fairs in Jordan and the Arab countries.
